Scheme of Evaluation

At Doon Academy, student progress is measured through a balanced system of continuous observation, regular assessments and year-end evaluations. Our approach ensures academic excellence while also encouraging personal growth and holistic development.

01. Pre-Primary Section

The Pre-Primary Section includes Play Group, Nursery, K.G. and Prep. Learning is activity-based and progress is observed through continuous evaluations across all areas of early development.

02. Primary Section

The Primary Section covers Classes I to V. Students are assessed through periodic class tests, assignments and term examinations that focus on building strong academic foundations and learning habits.

03. Upper Primary Section

The Upper Primary Section includes Classes VI to VIII. Academic performance is measured through regular unit tests, project work and comprehensive terminal examinations, preparing students for higher classes with confidence and discipline.

Rules and Regulations

Punctuality is to be maintained at all time. Students coming late will not be allowed. In case of emergency students will be permitted to school after making entry in late comer register but in any case he/she will not be permitted more than 3 times in a month.

Leave must be sanctioned in advance from school.

Parents/Guardians are requested to notify the school in case of any change of address/telephone number.

Unfair means : A student who uses an unfair means, and/or receives, or gives assistance in any form during tests or examination, or tampers with the evaluated answer sheets in any way or alters marks in the report card or in answer sheets, will be given zero in the subject .

Students are strictly prohibited from wearing jewellery to school. They are not allowed to use nail polish and grow nails.

75% of total attendance is compulsory.
